Configure Site Sync for Continuous delivery
If you want to use Continuous delivery with Site Sync for synchronizing content between your Staging and Live environments, you need to configure the module to synchronize only data (content).
Perform the following:
- Make sure the Site Sync module is active.
For more information, see Activate and deactivate modules. - Navigate to Administration » Settings » Advanced.
- In the treeview, click SiteSync.
- Deselect Enable the security snap-in in sync mode.
- Deselect Enable settings sync.
- Deselect Enable resources sync.
- Select Disable permissions sync, if you want content promoted between the environments to get the permissions of the target environment.
For more information, see SiteSync advanced settings. - In the treeview, under SiteSync, select Dynamic Field Containers.
- Deselect AllowStructureOnlySync.
- Deselect AllowStructureAndDataSync.
- Select AllowDataOnlySync.
- Save your changes.
