Remove visitors' data

Your data center continuously collect data for your visitors’ interactions with your websites. You may need to clean up this historical data, for example, to avoid noise in your audience data or to comply with your Sitefinity Insight license quota.

Sitefinity Insight enables you to remove visitors’ data, whose interactions happened before a chosen cutoff date.

You delete visitors’ interaction data per data center. Perform the following:

1. Log into Sitefinity Insight.
2. Click Administration.
3. Click the data center whose visitors’ data you want to delete.
4. Click Data cleanup » Delete visitors.
   The Delete visitors screen appears.
5. Select the cutoff date.
   Visitors data whose last interaction was before the cutoff data are selected for deletion.
6. Click Find visitors.
   A table containing the visitors’ data appears.
7. Review the table and click Delete selected.
8. Confirm the deletion.

   IMPORTANT: Once you click Delete … visitors, you cannot undo this action.

9. Click Close.
