Display the parent node in the Navigation widget

If you have selected to display all nodes under a particular parent page, you can choose whether you want to display the parent node in the beginning of the navigation.

To do this, perform the following:

  1. After you have added the Navigation widget to the page, click it Edit button.
  2. In the lower-right corner, click Advanced button.
  3. In field ShowParentPage, enter true and click Simple.
  4. Then you must edit the widget template by clicking Edit template button.
    You must have first selected a template for the navigation.
  5. Add the <ParentItemTemplate> section as demonstrated in the example below.
  6. Save your changes.

The following example displays Vertical (one-level) widget template:
