Filter products by departments and tags

You use departments to structure your online store and facilitate your customers in finding what they need. You use departments when you need to create a hierarchical structure of your store and you use tags when you want to filter products. First, you create the departments and tags, then you add them to products. You then use the Departments and Filter products widgets to display them on your website.

For general information about, see Departments
For more information about working with departments and tags using the code, see For developers: Taxonomies.
