Reference: CSS classes applied to widgets

This topic contains a reference to the default CSS classes that are applied to different widgets. Each widget contains a list of CSS classes, where they are applied, and the default HTML tag of each CSS.

The CSS classes are referenced in the front-end theme applied to the website. As an example of how to write and structure a site’s theme, you can use Sitefinity CMS Basic theme (BasicTheme.zip). You can find the theme in the Sitefinity CMS GitHub repository.

You can change the CSS classes of a widget, if you edit the widget’s template or if you create and apply a new one. After this the CSS rules are rewritten accordingly. For more information, see Create and edit widget templates.

NOTE: Each widget has the CssClass property. You use it to apply a custom CSS class to the widget. This way, each individual widget can be styled differently. To can edit the property from the Advanced configuration of widgets. For more information, see Advanced configuration of widgets.
