Work with the Analytics dashboard
The Analytics dashboard is your window to all marketing-related information and data you gained for a specific data center in Progress Sitefinity Digital Experience Cloud. Once you select a data center to explore, the Analytics dashboard is your access point to all activities you can perform in this data center:
- Browse and export contacts
- Create persona profiles
- Define lead scoring types and stages
- Provide scoring values to different visitor activities and interactions with your website
- Define and track conversions
- Measure marketing attribution
- Gain insights from predictive recommendations
- Create and track campaigns
- Analyze comprehensive reports on collected data and visitors' behavior
Data center dashboard
When you open the Analytics dashboard, you see list of all existing data centers. Once you click on a data center, you can see all data center details and related collected data visualized in meaningful reports, charts, and trends.
NOTE: If your account has just one data center, its data center dashboard is automatically displayed.
Depending on what metrics you defined for your data center and what you are tracking, you see different reports. If you did not create any personas, for example, you do not see a Personas section in your data center dashboard. By default, reports display the statistics for the last 30 days. You can change the time period to explore trends for smaller or bigger amounts of time.
NOTE: Once you change the time period, for which you see reports, the selection becomes the default one.
Following are descriptions of the variety of reports you can examine, ordered by how they are displayed by default. You can always rearrange the reports or delete the ones you do not need in your dashboard. In addition, you can collapse each report panel.
This section provides you with a glance at the most commonly used reports, along with the aggregate change in numbers. Hover over the graphs to see the exact numbers for a specific day, week, or month (depending on the time period you selected).
Number of conversions for this time period, as well as the change in percentage, compared with the previous period. This statistic helps you measure whether and how much your visitors are completing the actions you want them to take, that is, respond to your call-to-action and thus measure the success of your marketing efforts. Hovering over the graph gives you the number of conversions and the conversion report with most conversions.
Number of touchpoints hits for the selected time period, as well as the change in percentage, compared with the previous period. Such touchpoints include all key website engagement points for visitors - assets or interactions that you track. This statistic helps you measure touchpoints’ attribution to conversions, that is, whether they influence visitors’ conversion rates. Hovering over the graph gives you the number of touchpoint hits and the touchpoint with most hits.
The number of unique visitors that interacted with your website. This statistic includes both anonymous visitors and registered contacts and shows changes in traffic and how many new visitors are attracted to and land on your website pages.
- New contacts
The number of visitors who provided their email address by registering, filling out a form, subscribing for a newsletter, or any other interaction to become known contacts. This statistic helps you measure the level of visitor engagement. You can also view the list with the new contacts and take a detailed look at their contact profiles.
All charts help you analyze changes in the metrics compared with the previous historic period and within the selected time frame day by day by hovering over the chart.
Most improved conversion
This is the conversion that scored most conversions during for the selected period. You can either click on the conversion and see its detailed report or see a list of all conversion reports by clicking the respective link.
You can directly open the conversion report details page or examine the summary in this report:
- Spot trends in the graph
Hover over the graph to see the conversion count for the day, week, or month.
- Get details on the touchpoints that attributed the most to this conversionClick on a touchpoint to see a summary of the touchpoint statistics, such as:
- Conversion rate for this touchpoint
- Conversion rate for all visitors in this segment
- Number of hits
- Number of unique visitors that converting after hitting the touchpoint

How to get more conversions
This section summarizes the number of recommendations you can benefit from to create campaigns and the potential total increase in conversions.

This report visualizes in a chart how many visitors passed a persona threshold. Hovering over the chart gives you details on the persona and the number of visitors that are associated with of the selected period.
The list with personas gives you even more details, such as the change, compared to the previous period, and the trend.
You can either click on each of the personas and see its detailed report or see a list of all personas reports by clicking the respective link.

This matrix report provides you with an overview of touchpoints to conversions. The touchpoints with the highest average attribution rate are listed on top. Hovering over an intersection square gives you the exact attribution rate for this touchpoint in this conversion report.
You can either click on any touchpoint and see its detailed report, see a list of all touchpoint reports, or manage all touchpoints by clicking the respective links.

Top 3 lead scoring types
This report visualizes the 3 lead scoring types that accumulated the biggest total number of associated visitors. For each lead scoring type, you see the distribution of associated visitors between each lead scoring type's stage. You can either click on a lead scoring types and see its detailed report or manage all lead scoring types by clicking the respective link.
