When defining conversions, you can exclude interactions with the aim of getting reports and recommendations as specific as possible and tightly reflecting your conversion tracking needs. When you exclude an interaction, this interaction is completely disregarded in conversion rate calculation, data analysis, contact segments, and recommendations for best next experience for this conversion report.
Following are a few example scenarios when excluding interactions is the right method to use to avoid meaningless recommendations in reports:
Excluding interactions means no segment has these interactions in the list of segment interactions, so they do not appear in recommendations as well.
You can exclude one or more interactions in one of the following modes:
In the example above, the interactions Visit the home page and Watch the video Quantum for business are excluded from all reports, segments, and recommendations.
