Overview: Mobile apps builder
Mobile App Builder is an addition to the Module Builder, which allows you to automatically build HTML 5 mobile applications, based on the dynamic modules and taking advantages of the actual mobile devices and its features. You are able to enhance and extend the mobile apps built with the Mobile app builder.
Sitefinity CMS Box is a mobile application that connects to your Sitefinity CMS to provide the option to load every published mobile application, built with the Mobile app builder. You can use Sitefinity CMS box to create, edit, or delete dynamic module content items. For example, you can create a dynamic module Tasks, then create a mobile application for this module, then you can create and edit tasks with Sitefinity CMS Box, installed on your mobile device.
Sitefinity CMS Box is on App Store and Google Play.
RESTRICTIONS: The dynamic module that is used to build the mobile application cannot have:
- Hierarchical content types
- Hierarchical taxonomy fields
- Video fields
- Only the default language is supported. If your dynamic module has more than one language, you will be able to use only the default language with Sitefinity CMS box.
Using mobile apps with Telerik Backend Services
You can make a mobile app that is based on a dynamic module, which is synchronized with Telerik Backend Services.
