Our Most ProgressPROUD Moments of 2022

December 29, 2022 Company and Community

We’re closing out 2022 by looking back on our most ProgressPROUD moments from the eyes of the people who know us best: Our ambassadors.

We’re fortunate to have employees across the globe who represent our corporate values. Not only that, but they’re also active in the Progress community, always attending corporate events and sharing the good news coming out of Progress with their colleagues and networks. From top workplace award wins to rich employee resource group (ERG) programming, to our scholarship recipient announcements, our ambassadors are with us every step of the way.

Instead of providing a few hundred words recapping 2022, we thought we would let our ambassadors do the talking. Check out our 2022 ProgressPROUD highlights, as captured by our ambassadors.

Progress360

In September, we brought together a community of developers, customers, analysts and industry stakeholders for a single event: Progress360.

The four-day conference combined DevReach, the largest developer conference in Eastern Europe, and ChefConf, the premier DevOps/DevSecOps showcase. The event offered more than just informative sessions and inspiring keynotes: There was also plenty of fun and several corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities.

Progress Rings the Opening Bell at Nasdaq!

November came with a flurry of excitement and activity: Nasdaq announced that Progress would be ringing the opening bell for the 15th time in our over 40-year history as a company.

Yogesh Gupta did the honors, and as always, he had some inspired words to share: “It isn’t enough to be just a great business. It is also important to make sure we make an impact in the world.”

CEO Yogesh Gupta Visits Progress Offices Across the Globe

Another highlight of 2022? Yogesh’s world tour.

From Bulgaria to Brno and India, Progressers around the world were able to meet and connect with Yogesh in person—as was our 2021 Akanksha Scholarship for Women in STEM recipient, Akhila Karanam.

Inclusive Programming from Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) Throughout the Year

Our employee resource groups (ERGs) made sure to fill 2022 with informative, inclusive events and acknowledgments. This year we held our inaugural Pride Walk, celebrated Lunar New Year, recognized Black History Month and Women’s History Month and much more.

We Selected Our 2022 Women in STEM Scholarship Series Recipients

Our Women in STEM Scholarship Series aims to provide women with the opportunity to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math—areas where women have historically been underrepresented. This year, the scholarship expanded to include recipients in the U.S., Bulgaria and India.

Progressers Give Back Year Round

Progressers donated their time and resources to many causes in 2022. Cancer research, laptop donations and charity streams were just some of the humanitarian activities we participated in this year.

Before we close the door on 2022, it’s worthwhile to look back on all that we’ve accomplished in the last year—and even better to see it from our ambassadors’ perspectives. Here’s to more ProgressPROUD moments that we can share in 2023.
