August 06, 2007 Digital Experience

John Reilly's (co-chair of the TM Forum SID Project) latest book is now on sale at the TM Forum Website.    It was great working with John to help realize his vision of an introductory text on the SID. And we're thrilled to see it out and available for sale for to the general public.

So what’s this book about?

Well, here's a quick blurb from TM Forum's website:

Written by the TM Forum's co-chair of the Shared Information and Data Model project and TM Forum staff member, John Reilly provides answers to many questions about this cornerstone framework.

Some highlights of the book:

  • What the SID contains—its domains and coverage
  • How to implement and extend the SID to meet real world challenges
  • Why common data models like the SID are invaluable in integration
  • What development tools support the SID

Contained within is each copy of the book is the SID Model Browser. This is special version of our award winning[1] Semantic Integrator (SI) product. The SID Model Browser is dynamic documentation for the SID, helping you learn, explore and search the SID. It's the "interactive" version of the book if you will.
