Building Your First Chatbot

May 27, 2019 Digital Experience, Data Platform

Building chatbots has traditionally been complex, but with a modern technology framework it has become much easier. Check out this presentation to see how you can build your first bot.

The way businesses interact with customers over the internet continues to evolve. As artificial intelligence around natural language processing (NLP) has improved, it has enabled us to build chatbots that are capable of handling all sorts of customer interactions in a way that can feel more intuitive for the end user.

While chatbots can be extraordinarily useful in a variety of business contexts, building them has traditionally been complex. NativeChat aims to solve this by offering the tooling and framework needed to quickly build and deploy chatbots to multiple platforms.

How does it work? Well, the easiest way to explain that is simply to show you—and, fortunately, Progress Developer Advocate and NativeChat expert, Sebastian Witalec, gave a recent online presentation where he walked though how NativeChat works and the steps necessary to build your first app using it. Check out the video below.
