March 04, 2016 Data Platform

So, you’ve decided that your data connectivity needs an upgrade. It’s finally time to take advantage of the proven performance of Progress DataDirect Connect JDBC drivers. Your next step is to install the appropriate driver and start your trial.

Previously I put together two walk through videos of getting started with DataDirect ODBC drivers for Windows and Unix/Linux. These videos aren’t complete without their counterparts: DataDirect JDBC drivers for Windows and Unix/Linux tutorials.

To help get you started, I’ve put together a short video tutorial on just how to install DataDirect drivers. All you need to do is navigate to www.progress.com/jdbc on your computer, then follow along with me in the video below.

Install DataDirect for Windows or UNIX/Linux

All Finished

I hope the tutorial is helpful! Now you have no excuse not to have the best data connectivity. Go download your trial and get started! If you have any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to reach out or leave a message in the comment section below.
