It’s August, which for many of you means readying your families to trade in the beach towels for pencils and notebooks. Since we’re in the throws of Back to School season, we thought we’d highlight an education-themed Rollbase success story:
The Tulane School of Architecture is a key example of how universities are using the cloud and application development technology to help students realize their potential and showcase their work.
As 3D printing demands continue to increase, having an infrastructure that can support that is critical for students.
Before working with Progress partner Configment, the school was experiencing frequent crashes and slow printing that was reducing work output and leading to frustration. Configment knew that using Progress Rollbase would give students and faculty a robust and efficient way to share information and route output to shared printers and plotters. The solution would also enable the school to work seamlessly with cloud-based services, giving users more control over their files and the ability to schedule print jobs and monitor their status from mobile devices.
The result: the school was able to quickly and cost-effectively enhance its advanced printing functionality for students and staff using an application created and managed with Progress Rollbase.
