Testimonials module: Install the module

After you Testimonials module: Create the module, you need to install it in Sitefinity CMS backend, so that you can use it in your site.

Install the module

To install the Testimonials module in your Sitefinity CMS project:

  1. Go to the Sitefinity CMS backend (http://<yoursite>/sitefinity).
  2. In the main menu, click Administration » Settings » Advanced.
  3. In the navigation tree on the left, click System » ApplicationModules.
  4. To register the module, click Create New.
  5. In the Name input field and in the Title input field, enter Testimonials.
  6. In the Type field, enter SitefinityWebApp.Modules.Testimonials.TestimonialsModule.
  7. To save your changes, click Save.

Test the Testimonials module
  1. In Sitefinity CMS backend, create two new pages: Home and Submit. 
  2. Place the TestimonialsView user widget in the Home page.
  3. Place the SubmitTestimonial user widget in the Submit​ page.

As a result, you can see a Submit testimonials user widget on the Submit page and a list with all testimonials on the Home page. You can view and manage the testimonials in the backend of the Testimonials module.
