The Table Wizard

You use the table wizard to configure table and cell settings, to change the design of the table, and to configure accessibility options.

The Table Wizard contains the following tabs:

• Table Design
  On this tab you can add and remove rows and merge and split cells.
  • To add or remove rows and columns, use Columns and Rows.
    Select a cell in the table by clicking it.
    1. To add a row, click (Increase).
       The new row is inserted under the row which cell, you have selected.
    2. To add a column, click (Increase).
       The new column is inserted to the right of the column which cell, you have selected.
    3. To delete a row, click (Decrease).
       The selected row is deleted.
    4. To delete a column, click (Decrease).
       The selected column is deleted.
  • To merge and split cells, use Column Span and Row Span.
    Select a cell, which you want to merge, by clicking it.
  • To merge the selected cell horizontally, with the cell to the right, in Column Span, click (Increase).
  • To merge the selected cell vertically, with the cell under, in Row Span, click (Increase).
  • To split a horizontally merged cell, select it and in Column Span, click (Decrease).
  • To split a vertically merged cell, select it and in Row Span, click (Decrease).
  • When finished designing the table, click OK.
• Table Properties
  To modify the properties of the entire table, perform the following:
1. In the text editor, right-click the table.
   A dropdown menu appear.
2. Click Table Properties.
   You can change the following properties:
   • Height and width.
   • Cell spacing, padding, and alignment.
   • Apply a CSS class and background image
3. When finished configuring the table properties, click OK.
• Cell Properties
  To modify the properties of a single cell, perform the following:
1. In the text editor, right-click the cell.
   A dropdown menu appear.
2. Click Cell Properties.
3. In the left, select one or more cells, which properties you want to modify.
   You can change the following properties for the selected cells:
   • Height and width.
     To enter the height or width as percentage, after the number, enter %.
   • Alignment.
   • Apply a CSS class and background image.
   • Select whether to wrap the text in the selected cells.
4. When finished configuring the table properties, click OK.

NOTE: If you want to add a table without borders, open the HTML mode of the RadEditor, find the table and change the opening tag from <table> to <table border="0">
