Custom settings section: Register the basic settings section

Custom settings section: Register the basic settings section

After you have implemented the basic settings section, you must register it.
Perform the following:

  1. Go to the Module class of your custom module.
  2. In this topic the basic setting section is registered for the ProductsModule.cs part of the Products sample.
  3. Find the Initialize method of the ProductsModule class and add before:
    .TemplatableControl<MasterListView, ProductItem>()
    add
    .BasicSettings<CustomBasicSettingsView>("CustomSettings", "CustomSettings", "ProductsResources")
  4. Rebuild your project
    The basic settings section for your custom module appears under Administration » Settings.
