Apply page templates

In Sitefinity CMS, you can apply page templates in several ways. You can directly apply the built-in layouts to pages or you can design your own layouts with the Layout editor – from scratch or based on the predefined layout templates. You can then map the new designs to a layout file, so that you can operate with them in the file system.

You can also get full control on layout design by uploading or creating a custom template. Once you do, a page template is automatically generated in the file system.
