For developers: Page templates

This section guides you through the common tasks when working with page templates.

Sitefinity CMS back-end provides you with a user-friendly interface to create page templates. You can also create page templates programmatically using the Native or Fluent APIs.

In Sitefinity CMS, you create layout templates (not website templates) either by using Sitefinity CMS Layout editor or by using master pages. For more information, see Overview: Page templates.
