Move pages in the hierarchy
You can move pages up and down within a hierarchical level by choosing an line item's Actions > Move... > Up and Actions > Move... > Down commands. For more information, see Move pages without using drag and drop.
That same result can be achieved by dragging and dropping a line item. Drag-and-drop also lets you move lines into a different parent or different levels of the hierarchy.
On the Pages page, when you click a page's line, and then drag it...
- ... onto another page's line, the dragged page becomes the last child of the page where you drop it.
- ... where a highlight indicates that you are between two pages at different hierarchical levels, the dragged page becomes becomes the last child of the page where you drop it.
- ... where a highlight indicates that you are between two pages at the same hierarchical level, the dragged page becomes a peer of the pages where you dropped it.
You can select multiple lines to drag and drop in one action.
