NOTE: Sitefinity Digital Experience Cloud (DEC) was renamed to Sitefinity Insight as a part of the Sitefinity 13.0 release. However, Sitefinity CMS and its documentation prior to version 13.0 continue using the former name - Digital Experience Cloud.
Besides tracking of the forms the user submits, the Progress Sitefinity Digital Experience Cloud connector introduces more advanced feature related to web forms - dynamically report form field data to the cloud. Basically, the creator of the form may specify a field name in the advanced settings of the form designer for every field of a form. After form submission, the field name is automatically sent to the Progress Sitefinity Digital Experience Cloud as a subject metadata along with the field value. Considering that this information is sent as subject metadata, it is related to the user profile displayed in the Progress Sitefinity Digital Experience Cloud web application.
Only the fields that have the FieldName property set are send to Progress Sitefinity Digital Experience Cloud. The FieldName property is located in the advanced settings of every input field of a form. Thus, when you create a form, you can control which fields are to be related to the user profile and which are not.
Following is a list of recommended form field names:
