TechEd 2006 is just around the corner, and as is with these things, I expect to see a flurry of announcements from Microsoft, third parties as everyone scrambles to get the attention of developers. Personally, having played with the Google Web Kit, is does a nice job in taking the pain away from developers who are not intimately familiar with browser quirks. I have to imagine the ASP.NET developer community are salivating at the prospect at something similar that might suit their needs. So, anyone from the Google Web ToolKit team care to comment ? I don't typically talk about the web-tier on this blog, however to not consider this point of view obfuscates probably one of the broadest set of developers. So to that end, with all buzz around LINQ, the latest CTP from the ADO.NET group at Microsoft, I am going to spend some time talking about as to what all this means for ASP.NET developers.
