Webinar March 12: Modernization on Demand

March 04, 2015 Data Platform

Government modernization on demand requires a best practices mindset.

We’ve seen it time and time again that when new government policies are implemented, a new set of business rules must be put into practice to reflect the changes. While this is typical of any enterprise business, we often forget that it is similarly applicable to government entities. One of the greatest examples of this change has been the Affordable Care Act (ACA), signed in 2010.

Since the ACA was enacted, there have been a number of technology innovations to help organizations prepare for the inevitable changes that occurred. For example, any government agency that tracks eligibility requirements knows that once the legislation or policy goes into effect, the agency will have to play catch-up with its eligibility-related systems. If not, its citizens and/or constituents are liable to miss proper benefits.

On Thursday, March 12, 2 pm ET please join us for an insightful webinar where we will be discussing the major government modernization challenges that states face as a result of the ACA. This panel will include Jessica P. Kahn, MPH, Director, Data and Systems Group, CMS/Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services; and John Stein Monroe from Government Computer News.

The webinar will also highlight practices and lessons learned that could be applied to similar challenges in eligibility management.

We hope you are able to join us on March 12.
