Throngs at Tech Ed...

A trade show's success has numerous measures, but at Tech Ed, many of these measures need a new scale. The crowds were such that at one point we had a solid line of people outside out booth that would have made the Tokyo commuter grind look like a walk in the park. Overall a very satisfactory evening with excellent conversations. Microsoft and perhaps the Orlando Convention Center needs to take a serious look at their 'green' credentials. Considering the amount of trash generated by throngs of developers and exhibitors there are zero re-cycling. No where to toss those water bottles or cans. It would be nice to Microsoft taking the lead in an event such as this... perhaps Tech Ed 2008 will allow all attendees to display their green credentials...
