DataDirect’s Connect XE for ODBC drivers provide the school with the real-time connectivity to Salesforce.com that it needs to manage its growing alumni databases.
The drivers were a good fit for Stanford because they deliver out-of-box access, high performance and direct connectivity to Salesforce.com using Oracle Business Intelligence - all without creating additional complications or associated costs. Since Oracle lacks the ability to directly access Salesforce.com data without intermediary layers, Connect XE for ODBC drivers were a perfect fit to provide a cost-effective, clean connection to data stored in the Cloud.
