Last week the Sitefinity team released a service pack for Sitefinity 4.1. This service pack is loaded with over 50 features & fixes. Many of these items were reported by customers, acknowledged in PITS and addressed in this release.
All customers are strongly advised to upgrade their Sitefinity 4 projects to SP1.
SP1 contains fixes to problems you might eventually encounter
In the past few weeks, customers & our support team have discovered several issues that arise during various circumstances. This issues might not be immediately evident, but do eventually create challenges. By upgrading to SP1 you’ll avoid these complications in your own project.
SP1 contains updates to OpenAccess, RadControls & jQuery
In addition to the improvements introduced by SP1, this release also inherits the improvements made to OpenAccess, RadControls & jQuery. SP1 includes the latest version of these other products.

2. Run the installer
3. Follow the upgrade instructions to update your projects
