Progress Software would like to extend its congratulations to Vin Murria, Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Computer Software Group plc, for being named Entrepreneur of the Year at the AIM Awards 2012

Vin was presented with the award by a distinguished judging panel from the UK financial investment community at the AIM Awards dinner on October 11th in London. She won the accolade by demonstrating her vision, flair and business acumen in driving Advanced Computer Software Group forward in the past year.

Progress Software’s Mark Armstrong, Regional Vice-President, North EMEA was delighted to hear the news, commenting:

"We're delighted to hear that Vin's tireless work and entrepreneurial spirit has been recognized through this award. As a serial entrepreneur who has worked alongside Progress and its Application Partners for many years, and in many different guises, we're pleased that the support she has given to the UK software & IT services industry has been acknowledged and appreciated. Of course, addressing mid-market companies is a particular strength of OpenEdge, and so we’re delighted that Vin’s efforts have been recognized in this way."

Advanced Computer Software Group plc is a leading supplier of software and IT services to both public and private sectors, which help organisations to improve efficiencies and reduce costs. Today, under Vin's stewardship, it is one of Progress Software's largest Application Partners in EMEA.
