Established in 1994, G.A.T.E.WAYS is an independent, non-funded organization that provides opportunities for highly able and gifted children who seek advanced education additional challenges. Over 17,000 students have enrolled with the G.A.T.E.WAYS program to date.
Traditionally, all classes are delivered to midsized groups of students in person by expert tutors. But with the COVID-19 outbreak, the G.A.T.E.WAYS business model has changed completely. Unable to provide lessons in person, the organization has successfully moved its lessons online and digitized its publications program.
Despite a small team and limited budget, G.A.T.E.WAYS was able to make a change that would normally take months in just weeks. In this presentation, Websilk’s Tim Evans will share how an agile and integrated approach across technologies and people helped G.A.T.E.WAYS successfully navigate disruptions caused by COVID-19.
