    Overview

OData (Open Data Protocol) is an ISO/IEC approved, OASIS standard that defines a set of best practices for building and consuming RESTful APIs. OData offers full CRUD support with a standard convention for field selection, sorting, filtering, and other SQL functions via HTTP GET, POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE requests. Popularly referred to as the “SQL for the Web”, OData provides simple data access from any platform or device without requiring any drivers or client libraries.

Progress DataDirect Hybrid Data Pipeline is our self-hostable hybrid connectivity solution that you can run in the cloud or on-premises. Hybrid Data Pipeline allows you to easily expose your Google BigQuery data via ODBC, JDBC, or OData based RESTful API for data access, analytics and integration. Seamlessly integrate your Google BigQuery data with popular applications such as Salesforce, Dynamics 365, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik and more that support OData.
