Dr. M.A. Ketabchi

Progress Software acquired Savvion, Inc., in January 2010. Dr. M.A. Ketabchi founded Savvion in 1994. Under his leadership, Savvion launched the first business process management (BPM) product in 1999.
Over the past 15 years, Ketabchi has been engaged with many Savvion customers and partners, helping them improve their business through BPM and BPM-enabled solutions.
Ketabchi is well known for his pioneering research in business process management technologies and methods; process-centric, domain-oriented business solutions; object-oriented database management systems; and application development technologies. Over the last 20 years he has published and presented extensively in these areas and has made significant contributions to advancing the state of the art and technologies in BPM and process-centric, domain-oriented business solutions.
Ketabchi received his Ph.D. in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
