The ENABLE stage of the Progress Partner Program helps a partner get ready to build, go-to-market, sell, and deploy a solution through to the first customer, including the go-to-market strategy. The knowledge and skills required to successfully execute on an opportunity involve a number of different resources. Partners may not have all of the resources required, or may not have enough experience in certain areas. The Progress Partner Program can help a partner find and connect with those resources.
Real success comes at the point when a customer realizes the business impact from their investments based on a solution from a Progress partner. In the ENABLE stage, Progress can work with a partner to assess the skills needed and can provide:
- Access to training
- Certification
- Customer support
- Solution packaging programs
- Guidelines
These are all are key components of the Progress Partner Program for delivering on the total customer experience. In addition, Progress has an extensive third party network as well as Progress staff that is available to assist a partner as needed.
Development and deployment typically involve technology changes and additions. Progress has a network that includes a wide range of technical resources.
There are also important business decisions to be made at this point in the engagement cycle. This is the time to flesh out decisions and details of a go-to-market strategy, sales strategy, service delivery, customer support, etc.
Progress can contribute significantly to a partner at this stage; this allows the partner to complete the array of tasks necessary for successful go-to-market.
