Territory Account Manager DACH - Network Monitoring

In this role, you will be responsible for sales of our Flowmon product line business in the DACH region. In addition, you will work with key partners to help customers get the most value out of their investment in Progress technology and ensure high satisfaction with our products and services. This is a sell-with role, where you will work directly with customers and partners in our ecosystem to build, grow and maintain the business in the region.


What you’ll do:

  • Develop and review business plans with key customers and partners, ensure their execution, and conduct appropriate QBRs
  • Help build and drive future development plans for Progress-based applications together with end customers and partners, supported by Progress technical team, to increase the footprint and value of Progress software in the solution.
  • Coach our partners’ business development teams to increase sales and deal size of Progress solutions
  • Continuously work to expand the contact network and solution footprint in your accounts
  • As the owner of the customer relationship from the Progress side, you will plan and lead the engagement of the virtual account team with your partners and end customers
  • Use insight and consultative techniques to teach partners about the industry and offer unique perspectives on practices and solutions which link back to Progress solutions

 

Your Profile:

If you are someone who thrives in relationship building while challenging customers to think differently about their business, this is a great opportunity. A good understanding of software development processes, network, application, infrastructure monitoring, security, and compliance management will be helpful. In addition, it would be great if you have:

  • 4-6 years of experience in enterprise software sales, preferably within network and monitoring solutions
  • Experience in selling through and with partners and a good understanding of indirect go-to-market models
  • Ability to translate and tailor communication with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong desire to learn and the ability to master new technologies within a relatively short period
  • A willingness to travel
  • Impeccable German language skills with good knowledge of the DACH region and software business
  • A relevant University degree is desirable
  • This is a work-from-home position, so you need to be able to work independently but still in close cooperation with the DACH and EMEA teams.
