This team thrives on the goal to help transform businesses around the world to survive in the digitized world.  Focusing on products and services offering a full application life cycle, the team offers products such as The Digital Factory and other services including; Sitefinity, Telerik platform, Corticon, and Rollbase. 

About the Job:

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential in North America, crafting sales campaigns, optimizing the relationships across the Progress ecosystem of products including Digital Factory, Sitefinity CMS, and Corticon. This position will be located in Waltham, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Achieving growth and hitting revenue targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Designing and implementing a strategic territory plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Owning recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Driving sales revenues, realistic forecasts, enablement criteria
  • Identifying emerging market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
 About you:
  • Highly motivated & driven to deliver results that meet & exceed goals
  • Enthusiastic manager who thrives on coaching & developing sales professionals – business generation reps & all levels of inside sales reps
  • Outstanding verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coordinate, balance and prioritize multiple opportunities across a diverse product portfolio with varying ASPs
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communication, Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of sales management experience within the software industry
  • Prior experience as a quota carrying rep prior to sales management
  • Experience using Salesforce.
