Senior React/JavaScript Developer

Join us as a Senior React/JavaScript Developer in Brno for a research & development project where you will work with the university research team on security-focused playbooks and data analytics in a modern user interface.

The purpose of this project is to streamline the analysis of cyber security incidents & network telemetry in Flowmon product. Our team is working on a way how to democratize the technology, embed the expert knowledge and make Flowmon accessible & easy to use to a broad audience of IT professionals. New modern GUI interface is being developed in React, as a single-page application emphasizing responsiveness. We have finished the dashboards, reports, scheduling, and topological network maps, and we are getting ready for the data analysis part.

The application is using the latest version of React. However, since the project has been running for some time, we will also encounter class-based components, so experience with such is welcome. For styling, we use CSS-in-JS technology, specifically the styled-components library. For working with charts, we use Canvas and the D3 & KendoUI library.

Given the above, we are looking for an experienced professional for 3 year project engagement with the opportunity for a long term cooperation. Given the requirements of the project, only candidates who can be on-site in Brno will be eligible.

Your profile:

• Extensive experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React (also knowledge of components in classes)
• Knowledge of Redux and React context API
• Knowledge of working with GIT.
• Experience in designing projects based on React
• English – spoken and written

What will be an advantage?

• Knowledge of backend technologies (PHP, Postgres)
• Overview in related JavaScript technologies such as Node.js, Webpack, Babel, Yarn, micro frontends, etc.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, NetFlow/IPFIX, tcpdump, PCAP analysis
