About the Role:

  • Deliver high value solutions to prospects and customers, who become passionate and loyal customers
  • Implement and execute effective sales and services strategies, ensure maximum penetration of your respective assigned territory that results in your meeting and exceeding assigned targets
  • Facilitate customer success based upon customer-specific value propositions, realistic expectation setting and effectively leveraging a diversity of internal resources
  • Be accountable for your work by tracking and managing all activities and information in Salesforce and by leveraging our sales process
  • Based in Redwood City, CA, w/ home office flexibility
  • Travel is second nature and is required at least 50% is outside of the local area, overnight and some international travel as needed for trade shows and conferences

About YOU:

  • Have successfully sold predictive maintenance solutions to large manufacturers
  • Your customers want to be a reference for you and hopefully a future customer or partner of DataRPM
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycle in a predictable fashion resulting in six figure contracts
  • Engage prospects and customers in a way that both solves their challenges and achieves your quotas
  • Deep understanding of Industrial IoT, Big Data and Predictive Maintenance Technologies that enables you to help work and design specific solutions based on the needs of your customers and prospects
  • Think critically, using logic and reasoning to troubleshoot complex problems and identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business or equivalent work experience; MS in Business Administration; Sales & Marketing a plus
  • 6-8 yrs. of directly related experience in this type of solutions sale in any of the following industries; Industrial IoT, Big Data, Predictive Maintenance
  • Self-motivated seller; you close deals through stellar listening, prospecting, presenting, understanding and negotiation skills aimed at continually meeting sales goals while building “Trusted Advisor” relationships
