Sales Operational Analyst, Senior works with all levels of Sales, Legal, Finance and IT to process quotes, customer orders and/or change orders from quote to entitlement in Salesforce. This senior level position will be a critical partner to the sales organization, ensuring deals are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies & industry best practice. The role will require someone who can think on their feet, helping to solve complex problems while working against end of month/quarter deadlines.


Accountabilities:
  • Help sales reps be successful in their jobs with advice on products, fix quotes, identify bottlenecks in the sales process, and find ways to improve sales efficiency 
  • Assist the Chef Business of closing all deals in Salesforce and overseeing the data quality in all downstream systems and helping to fix issues
  • Order Fulfilment of all Core C deals after reviewing the sales, financial and legal aspects
  • Understand the entire Quote to Cash ecosystem and all upstream/downstream impacts to ensure transactions and data flow properly between various systems and teams. The result is accurate data to Oracle Financial Cloud for invoicing customers and order fulfilment
  • Improving productivity by simplifying and automating processing wherever possible to help with the approvals. Update the Chef Interim Policies document for quote discounts, co-terming, expansion, deals over 100K ARR consistent with the Rev Ops review guidelines
  • Receives customer purchase orders and reviews them for completeness and accuracy which includes product configuration and verifying terms and prices according to contracts
  • Makes direct contact with Sales to resolve any order related issues
  • Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt and courteous communication of open and closed order status
  • Works closely with and supports sales team with scheduling
  • Performs function within departmental guidelines as well as within existing internal controls
  • Applies proper revenue recognition rules of engagement as it relates to contracted business terms.
  • Actively participates in specific projects and/or task teams as defined by Management
Qualifications :
  • BA/BS
  • Experience in Salesforce.com
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Active participating in cross-functional product and policy meetings
  • Basic knowledge of the fundamentals of revenue recognition
  • Basic knowledge with respect to fundamental Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls
