Job Summary

We’re driving the future of Industrial IoT, transforming the world of business through cognitive predictive maintenance. We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager, Senior with experience in predictive analytics, industrial analytics or IoT products. You will position our product with a stellar go-to-market strategy by creating engaging content, driving customer insight, and enabling our sales team to take DataRPM to the next level.

As a Product Marketing Manager, Senior you will:
  • Collaborate with Product Marketer(s), Product Manager(s) and General Manager(s) to define GTM strategy and comprehensive product marketing plans to orchestrate content and drive profitability for our DataRPM product offering
  • Drive customer insight programs to uncover requirements and market data that will help guide product management efforts and customize the message for each particular audience
  • Refine product positioning and messaging on public properties such as product pages
  • Evangelize the market strategy to customers, partners, staff, analysts and press
  • Measure the effectiveness of product marketing programs
  • Delivere thought-leading content via events, blogs, videos and other outlets
  • Create compelling presentations and demo strategies to enable the Progress sales team
  • Analyze and refined the customer journey to best match buyer personas and their preferred purchasing process
  • Create sales enablement collateral that carry product positioning and messaging
  • Decide which conferences the DataRPM product marketing team should sponsor
  • Leverage technical experience to deliver engaging web pages, blogs, and tutorials
  • Be able to organize and run a project by effectively planning a strategy, tactics, analytics and getting the most out of your talented peers
  • Serve as curator of technical collateral including technical requirements, test plans, technical presentations, whitepapers, and implementation guides related to data connectivity
  • Understand relevant trends in the data connectivity and integration market
You will have a/an:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science or equivalent. Advanced degrees or MBA preferred
  • 5 years of software product marketing experience within predictive analytics, industrial analytics or IoT products.
  • Solid understanding of the MADP market, trends and competitors
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and an ability to tailor communication styles to different audiences, e.g. technical developers, less technical marketing managers, and external customer/partner audiences
  • Experience in direct and indirect routes to market is a must
  • Evidence of leadership capabilities for both a direct team and virtual teams that deliver high impact, creative and innovative results to drive the company’s top line growth
  • Demonstrated results working in a medium size company evidencing the ability to collaborate and execute with other senior functional heads
