Job summary

In this role, you will team with our Regional Sales Managers, Partner Account Managers, and Solution Engineers to ensure our partners are appropriately onboarded, trained, and enabled to identify, position, scope, and sell Progress solutions. You will be the player coach for the partners, working cross-functionally to onboard and retain them and ensure they are equipped with the technical and functional knowledge about our products to sell and implement them successfully. This role requires you to plan onboarding and enablement activities appropriately and manage partner progress through training and certification. This is a strategic role designed to help Progress manage the evolution of our indirect business to scale and accelerate growth.

As a Partner Success Manager, you will be responsible to:

  • Develop an enablement journey for partners to help them grow their knowledge of Progress products
  • Develop and continually refine onboarding/ training materials for new partners
  • Establish credibility with new partners and serve as a key advisor during the onboarding period
  • Ensure that all onboarding timelines are fully communicated to all internal and external stakeholders and ensure that all information our internal teams require are obtained from our partners in a timely and efficient manner
  • Actively work with Progress partners to ensure they are enabled on all aspects of the product portfolio they sell
  • Drive and track certified partner resources by individual and partner
  • With Partner Account Manager, participate in the partner business planning sessions and quarterly business reviews to obtain visibility and feedback. Take specific actions and work with partner & Progress cross-functional team to address enablement gaps
  • Provide ongoing support for our existing partners on enablement needs and development areas
  • Collaborate with the Partner Account Management team to manage partner progress and success against the enablement plan

You will excel in the role if:

  • You are an experienced Project/Program Manager
  • You know how to identify and define relevant success metrics for your onboarding processes
  • You have experience in implementing solutions such as online learning programs, instructor-led training sessions, virtual training sessions, job aids, instructional videos, and role-playing exercises
  • You are comfortable working and managing ambiguity – dealing effectively with problems or questions where a solution or process isn't already in place
  • You are welcoming challenges
  • You feel at ease when presenting to and communicating with people
  • Your friends would describe you as confident, communicative, and self-motivated
  • You have excellent presentation, communication, and customer/partner engagement skills
  • You understand and/or have experience working within a channel go-to-market strategy
