As the Manager, Internal Communications and Employer Brand, you will be an active force on the team in determining how we communicate across the organization.

We are looking for a confident, charismatic and experienced communicator to join our team. You will be responsible for communicating our strategy and building our brand through a combination of internal communications and content creation. You will be responsible for driving employee engagement across a wide range of internal channels, company All-Hands meetings and events. The Corporate Communications team is a central hub that always knows what's going on across the organization and our goal is to ensure that Progress people do too. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with executive leaders and employees alike, creating informative communications that our people value. Are you in?

  • Execute on, scale and prioritize internal communications and employee engagement for critical functions across the business, including our people, programs and processes.
  • Develop well-written, thoughtful content that inspires and engages our people and drives deeper alignment and execution toward Progress’ vision, mission, values and goals.
  • Own internal events, including company All Hands meetings, from concept development through to execution.
  • Be a communication and change-management advisor for key partners, infusing the employee perspective into all major programs and rollouts.
  • Manage our internal communications content calendar(s) in collaboration with company stakeholders.
  • Partner with our PR team to ensure alignment on internal and external news and thought leadership.
  • Use data to optimize communications opportunities and ensure we're using the most effective approaches.
  • Be a champion for clear, impactful communications across the company.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for internal partners and stakeholders, including HR, IT, legal, facilities, sales and marketing.
  • Act as an ambassador for the work our colleagues are doing and work with our team to bring those stories to life through written, video and live communication channels.
  • Define success metrics and measure our efforts through identified KPIs and employee engagement metrics to find areas of improvement as we evolve as an organization.
  • Manage a team of professionals, ensuring top-quality output and at the same time, provide critical career development and mentorship.
  • Loves to write, possessing both strong writing skills and an outstanding attention to detail.
  • Translates complex concepts into clear and concise communications targeted to the right audiences through the right media.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability when writing for different voices in both style and preference.
  • Has experience building integrated, inclusive communications programs to support business objectives and is skilled in project management—from concept to execution.
  • Creates cross-channel content, including email, video, blog posts, newsletters, podcasts, etc.. with an ability to manage it all, across digital platforms.
  • Plans and executes internal events including company All Hands meetings.
  • Collaborates and communicates well across a diverse group of stakeholders including executive leadership and employees at all levels and global locations.
  • Exudes passion for making an impact by supporting a company culture built around its people.
  • Proven experience in mentoring and building a team of strong communications professionals.
  • Embraces curiosity with an equal drive to teach and learn.
  • Demonstrates an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, stays organized and effectively prioritizes.
  • Has had involvement in B2B tech mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and/or employee onboarding.
  • Brings experience with platforms including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Yammer, GoToWebinar, Populo or other employee communication technologies.
