Progress Software Sales in EMEA is growing and we are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Cologne. In this role, you will position and sell Progress’ core application development and deployment portfolio. You will effectively collaborate with existing customers and partners in the DACH region.

 

Your area of responsibility:

  • Achieving or even exceeding a yearly six- or seven-digit sales revenue quota
  • Proactively create new business opportunities and advance them through the funnel and ultimately build a stable pipeline
  • Add value to our customers and partners by providing insights in trends and issues, demonstrating business impacts and outlining beneficial solutions
  • Actively manage, track and precisely forecast revenue opportunities in salesforce.com
  • Create account plans and strategies to scale and grow business opportunities

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ideally 2-4 years’ sales experience with a track record of exceeding goals
  • Software sales experience a plus
  • Professional, self-motivated and positive attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English and German language
  • Document creation, editing and presentation skills
