This role will fit into the larger team of the Infrastructure Management (INFRA) business unit within Progress, which is comprised of the following products Chef, WhatsUp Gold, Kemp LoadMaster, and Flowmon.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Cleanse Intern to assist in the cleansing and optimization of data and business processes within Salesforce (SFDC). This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in data management, CRM systems, and business operations.
The intern will collaborate closely with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure data integrity, streamline workflows, and improve overall data governance. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while learning key aspects of Salesforce data management.
In this role, you will:
Data Cleansing:
- Audit existing Salesforce data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify and eliminate duplicate records, outdated data, and inaccurate information.
- Update and correct customer, lead, and contact records as needed.
- Ensure adherence to data quality standards and best practice
Data Maintenance & Validation:
- Perform regular data audits and validations to ensure ongoing data hygiene.
- Support the creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards to track data quality metrics.
Collaboration:- Work with stakeholders from sales, and operations to gather requirements and understand data needs.
- Provide recommendations on data cleansing strategies and process improvements.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Document data quality issues and develop processes to prevent future data problems.
- Assist in generating reports to showcase data cleansing progress and highlight key metrics.
Your background:
- Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and an inspiring work ethic
- Be naturally curious to figure out how things work
- Previous experience with a CRM
- Stealth attention to detail, following and improving processes
- Proficiency in English
