Job Summary

The Customer and Analyst Relations Associate is a member of the Corporate Communications team and is responsible for activities pertaining to customer engagement and analyst relations activities. The position requires an understanding of Progress’ overall product portfolio, strong organizational skills, excellent writing skills and the ability to effectively communicate and work cross-departmentally. This individual will report to the Director of Global Communications and is hands-on in terms of executing communications programs and campaigns. The candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with Progress’ customer base which includes 75% of the Fortune 100. About the Adventure:
  • Work with the Customer Advocacy Manager to create and deploy customer-based campaigns for communications/social/marketing/sales operations
  • Management of customer database, editing and publishing of customer assets.
  • Responsible for training, tracking and fulfillment of online product review program campaigns
  • Administration of customer engagement efforts; recruitment and fulfillment of customer requests
  • Assist Analyst Relations Manager with maintaining Progress’ industry analyst database and scheduling/logistics of analyst engagements
  • Research and dissemination of relevant industry research reports to executive team and other relevant teams (PR, marketing, sales)
About You:
  • 1-2 years' experience in marketing or communications and/or a related field
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline
  • Experience in the tech sector a plus
  • Proven experience in managing projects and deliverables to strict deadlines
  • Knowledge of and experience with Office 365,, CMS and RO Innovation a plus
  • Visual thinker; basic design skills, like PowerPoint or Photoshop, are preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong editing skills and attention to detail, a must
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail required for success
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the proven ability to work in a team environment and across different audiences, personalities and experience levels
  • The individual must have the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate successes as well as challenges effectively. They should, bring a strong work ethic, enthusiasm and pride of ownership to the role
