About The Team:

This position will support our North American OEM sales team targeting other software vendors who need to accelerate time to market by embedding our data connectivity, business rules, and UI components into their commercial applications

About the Job:

This is a new role for the NA OEM team. The BG reps will work alongside the Inside Sales rep to identify good targets, find the appropriate contacts, and as appropriate work to set appointments for the sales team. This scope of this role will change as needs and talents dictate but will require an aggressive individual accustomed to research as well and engaging prospects.

About you:

A successful candidate will have the ability to uncover new sales opportunities in commercial software vendors and will be able to work well independently and as a team player with sales reps and account managers.  

  • Aggressively identify and qualify new business opportunities through targeted outbound campaigns utilizing telephone, e-mail and the web
  •  Focus on lead nurturing with prospects not ready to engage in the sales process
  •  Work closely with Sales Reps and Account Managers to supplement and support their outbound efforts
  •  Identify suggestions and ideas for outreach and generation of new leads
  •  Assist in responding to potential customers’ requests for information
  •  Document activities in CRM (Salesforce.com)
  •  Work with management to communicate sales activity, competitive information and    customer feedback
  • Exceptional communication skills
  •  Basic technology proficiency and experience with CRM systems
  •  Results-oriented with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  •  Demonstrated track record of persistence and tenacity with the ability to overcome objections
  •  Bachelor’s degree
  •  Minimum of 1-2 years successful business-to-business inside sales experience, preferably in the information technology sector (will consider outstanding entry level candidates)
  •  Experience prospecting to gain new business revenue and cold calling expertise
