We are on the lookout for a Business Generation Representative for our Developers Tooling division to help us service our EMEA market. In this role you will be responsible for qualifying new business via phone, email and social media. Often the first point of contact with prospective customers, you will have the full responsibility for delivering stellar customer experience that will set the stage for continued engagement and growing interest in Progress technology and expertise.
As a Business Generation Representative, you will proactively contact and qualify prospective customers that result from direct requests for trial, demo or quote, or are identified through marketing programs and campaigns and/or prospects’ behavior.
About the role:
- Generating sales by phone for defined new customer segments, from initial contact to signed agreement
- Managing inbound sales requests received via web, email, and phone
- Qualifying approximately 50 warm leads daily
- Collaborating with sales managers and sales teams to refine sales strategies and approaches
- Maintaining and updating Salesforce.com to accurately track all relative customer data, business insights, and record of interactions
- Using tools like DiscoverOrg, RainKing, LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and qualify decision makers who can utilize Progress solutions
- Communicating with customers the business and technical benefits of Progress solutions
- Setting discovery meeting appointments for Regional Sales Teams
- Attending regular online and in-person product sessions to develop expertise in Progress products
- Lead Generation or Cold-calling experience
- Familiarity with the tech industry
- Enthusiastic, driven and confident personality
- Go-getter, systematic and organized
- Fluency in English
- Familiarity with Salesforce, RainKing, or DiscoverOrg
- Previous tele-qualification experience a plus
