Business Development Representative

In this role, you will be responsible for qualifying new and expansion business via phone, email, and social media. Often the first point of contact with prospective customers, you will have the full responsibility for delivering a stellar customer experience that will set the stage for continued engagement and growing interest in Progress technology and expertise. You will proactively contact and qualify prospective customers that result from direct requests for trial, demo or quote, or are identified through marketing programs and campaigns and/or prospects’ behavior. You will also likely be managing complete sales cycles for certain opportunities from prospecting/qualification to.

Your profile:
  • Good experience in lead generation and cold-calling (or sales) experience
  • Passion for the tech industry and selling
  • Enthusiastic, driven and confident personality
  • Go-getter, systematic and organized
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Fluency in German, French or Spanish is a big plus
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRMs
  • Previous tele-qualification experience is a plus
