Business Development Representative - German speaking

What you will do:

  • Respond to product inquiries generated via chat, website, webinars, and events
  • Acknowledge, follow up, and qualify inbound leads for Progress products like WhatsupGold and Loadmaster.
  • Research on leads and penetrate accounts for details like their budget, the product used, news, LinkedIn mapping
  • Follow cadence on every lead through email, call, and LinkedIn touch
  • Nurture new marketing/ inbound leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with the Account Management Team.
  • Generate qualified opportunities via BANT.
  • Schedule product demonstrations/discovery calls between the Account Managers and potential customers.
  • Maintain accurate track of communication, lead qualification information, and updates of activities and stages in Salesforce.
  • Align with a team of Account Managers for pipeline generation.
  • Map critical stakeholder information/Build Database for Target Accounts to discover potential customers.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach.
  • Drive New Business and create a sales pipeline.
  • Reporting on day-to-day lead, opportunity, and account level anomalies and operationalizing solutions to overcome them.
  • Establish data hygiene practices that optimize lead generation results.

Who you are :

  • At least one year of relevant experience in Sales Development & managing marketing leads.
  • Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team while demonstrating flexibility & reliability.
  • Self-starter who takes the initiative, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent German and English language skills
  • Ability to explain technological strategies to both end-users and decision-makers throughout organizations, including technical, business, and C-level audiences
  • Very organized and detail-oriented
  • Hands-on experience with the MS Office suite of products (MS Excel is a must) and willingness to learn new programs and applications as needed; general knowledge of Salesforce is a great advantage.
  • Prior experience in using analytical tools will be an added advantage but not a must.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a technical background is preferred
  • Database management, analytics & list building
  • You will use these tools daily, so experience or familiarity with them will be a considerable advantage: Salesforce, ZoomInfo/ Discover Org, and Salesloft.
