Accountant - Maternity cover

We are looking for a colleague to join our small accounting team in Brno. This position will combine the daily accounting activities with fixed assets evidence (mainly hardware) and travel expenses agenda. We do not expect you to be a master in all these fields. What would make you stand out is some relevant experience as well as desire to further develop into the accounting space, expand your knowledge and learn new skills.

Please note that this is a maternity cover role with a duration of approximately 2-3 years.

About the role:

• Booking of incoming invoices
• Travel expenses administration
• Maintenance of fixed assets registers
• Month-end accounting and reporting

About you:

• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Basic knowledge of tax principles (fixed assets)
• Detailed-oriented and punctual
• Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
• A minimum high school with the economy field
• Fluent or excellent Czech language skills 
• Good English language skill
