The hotel is ideally situated just a short walk from the Grand Place and the main shopping area. It is also located next to the Botanical Gardens and close to the Brussels Gare Centrale and Gare du Midi train station, the Eurostar and Thalys train terminal. The hotel is also not far from the major business district, exhibition centres, World Trade Centre, NATO headquarters and the EU district (European Commission, European Union and European Parliament).
Dating back to 1908, the Crowne Plaza Brussels City Centre Hotel has a long and distinguished history, and has been at the heart of Brussels city life since the day it opened.
Last year the hotel underwent a full refurbishment. The architect turned to the Art Nouveau lines and curls of Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) for inspiration, echoing Le Palace's (1908) original turn-of-the-century style.
This was combined with a cool modern touch and the latest comforts including free wireless internet access.
