Open Access Partners

The Open Access Level is open to qualified software vendors with technology that complements Progress and that broadens the range of "total solutions" available to Progress customers. Open Access Partners enjoy easier and more cost-effective access to Progress technology, information and support, plus increased exposure to Progress customers via Progress Software Corporation. Progress Software does not sell nor directly support the products of its Open Access Partners. However, this program is the first step for any software company wishing to form a close technical, marketing or sales relationship with Progress Software. Open Access Partners agree to focus on the needs of the Progress customer community. They are responsible for providing and maintaining interfaces to Progress technology where appropriate, and validating compatibility to Progress Software on an on-going basis. Open Access Partners also must document Progress compatibility in white papers made available through Progress Software. (These papers may be downloaded from the Complementary Partner Catalog.) Additional product information may also be available via Progress Software.

Download the Open Access Level Highlights document, which overviews program costs, responsibilities and benefits. Then, if you are a software vendor who would like to participate in the Open Access Program, download the Application, fill it out and return the completed document to Progress Software as indicated on the application form. Sending company and product information with the application will expedite your application review. Candidates will be contacted by Progress Software regarding the status of their application.
