Challenge

Distrelec's e-business strategy was lacking automatic order processing and electronic billing for major customers and the direct link-up of suppliers.

Solution

Distrelec decided on the Sonic Business Integration Suite to integrate the internal and external customer systems with the ordering, confirmation, delivery and billing processes.

Results

A customer who has not previously used the new Distrelec e-business solution can be integrated into the system in less than half a day - provided that the predefined business processes are accepted. In the meantime, Distrelec is moving forward with it's supplier link-up, which is an even more important phase.
