Technical Sessions

The Exchange technical program was a huge success this year! Over a hundred different sessions, including four Birds of a Feather sessions and 11 customer case studies, provided the attendees with a wide range of topics to choose from. Many breakout presentations discussed and demonstrated the various Progress Software products as well as covered concepts and techniques such as AJAX, OERA, XQuery, mashups, virtualization, design, performance, and using RFID with voice recognition software. The new Advanced GUI session was very popular with attendees learning where OpenEdge is taking the User Interface.

Sonic: Enabling Event-Driven Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

INT: Business Services and the Enterprise Infrastructure

Information systems use business services to share and integrate discrete business functions. They use enterprise infrastructure products to connect, control, mediate and monitor these services in order to support and execute business processes. Whether it is for Web services, XML, JMS messaging, or an enterprise service bus, Progress technologies help you build and manage your Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment. BOF: Birds of a Feather

Get together with other attendees and Progress experts who share the same interests. You’ll get the chance to meet, discuss issues, identify common challenges, exchange ideas and share solutions in an informal atmosphere. Birds of a Feather sessions are audience led with no formal agenda or speakers. Moderators help guide the discussion.
